how to send fanmail to tom hiddleston

Because Hiddles I was asked to ^^

Sooo…okay first of all you’re gonna want to write your letter. Mine was five pages long, but…try and keep it less than that hahaha I only went five pages because I’ve been a fan for four years and there was a lot that I needed to say XD

Now that you’ve got your nice, shiny, wonderful letter…get a big envelope. And I am talkin’ big here. I used a 10x13 envelope for mine, and I also put a second 10x13 (folded in half) inside the first envelope, along with my letter and the magazine that I asked to be signed. So you’ve got two envelopes.

Now, on the unfolded envelope, you’re gonna want to write the fanmail address in the middle of it

Agency
Tom Hiddleston
Hamilton Hodell
5th Floor
66-68 Margaret Street
London W1W 8SR
Great Britain

And then in the top left you’re obviously gonna want to put your return address.

If you’re sending from out of country, you need international reply coupons, but I honestly have no idea how or where to get them or what they even do, do you should ask your post office about that when you go to send it. Don’t just put domestic stamps on the envelope cause then you won’t get a reply. I mean… if you just want to send a letter for the sake of sending a letter, then that is also marvelous, but I’m guessing that you’re gonna want a picture.

Noooooow…on the folded envelope (and only include one if you want a signed picture. You can include your own, or he’s got his own as well that he will give to you) out your own address in the middle….and then I left the return address part blank..because I don’t know where they’re going to be sending it from… and I’m weird and paranoid but I guess maybe put your own address as the return address, or maybe the… agency? I’m just not sure, which is why I left it blank.

Let’s see what elseeee…..be kind in your letter when asking for a signed picture…in mine I said “Hey I included this magazine with your photo in it. I was wondering— only if you have the time and want to —if you could maybe sign one of the pictures of you for me?” Don’t be like “GIMME PICTURE.” That’s…that’s not the way to do it hahaha

OH ALSO

You are going to want to put some cardboard inside the envelope along with your letter…just so it doesn’t get all bent up in the post…because you wouldn’t want that. So cardboard is a very good idea. ;)

So then you get your letter and all of the everything all addressed and you go to the post office and you have them weigh it for you and then they can tell you how many stamps you need. For some ungodly reason, I needed, like, $5 in stamps for BOTH envelopes (lord only knows why fkhdfgjgd), so you’re gonna want to leave the postage stuff up to them so you can make absolutely sure that the postage is okay. and, like I said… international reply coupons if it’s going out of country.

I also paid a teeny bit extra to get a tracking thingy on both envelopes, so I can know when it gets there and— more importantly —if I am getting a reply back. (But now it’s been like 10 months since I sent a letter so I dunno if that’ll do me any good any more :/)

I dunno if there is anything else that you need to know, but if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me! I am always here for you guys! :)
